Shopping Marathon

After a short but busy week at school for Brooke and Fanny and the girls desperate to sleep in, we were on the highway at 7am  on our way to the Ripley's Aquarium and to do a lot of shopping. Help!!  Surprisingly traffic was good and we were in downtown Toronto by 9:15.   After a short walk down by the waterfront to see Lake Ontario, we walked the 2 blocks to the Aquarium which is right beside both the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre, the home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

The girls had a great time in the aquarium but once done it was time for SHOPPING!   We knew it was going to be a long day so we opted to jump in a cab and take the short $10 ride to the Eaton Centre.  The Eaton Centre is the largest shopping mall in Toronto with its 230 stores and restaurants.  Once we arrived the girls ate and then they were gone.  They disappeared into the group of shoppers not to be seen again for 3 hours.

One more stop before home.  We stopped at the Premium Outlet Mall in Halton Hills where Fanny looked at Levi's 511 jeans for her brother but wasn't exactly sure on the length so she opted to get them another shopping day.  After 2 more hours of shopping we arrived home 12 hours after we had left.   Sleeping in is going to feel so good tomorrow.
