We arrived home just after 9pm. Both Fanny and Brooke had showers, we ate pizza and were all in bed by 11:30. The Labour Day 3 day weekend was filled with the following activities;
- Brooke teaching Fanny the fundamentals of fastball (tryouts are Tuesday September 2nd)
- Fanny meeting my parents, Russell and Shirley and my Aunt Violet and Uncle Reuben from British Columbia
- Fanny meeting Brooke's ball coach, Tim along with his wife Bonnie and their daughter Kaitlyn
- Eating bbq ribs
- Meeting our good friends Marcie and Tracy Zavitz and being able to hang out with their daughter Amy again.
- Visiting Stratford, Ontario the birthplace of Justin Bieber. The town is also known for being the home for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival
- Fanny discovering Kiwi Kraze (self serve frozen yogurt shop) Kiwi Kraze
- The girls picking out their 1st day of school clothes and getting their school supplies ready.
Tomorrow is a big day for Fanny as it's the first day of school. Lydia and I know that she'll fit in well at her new school and will enjoy the experience. The girls will be waking up at 6am to get ready for the day before catching the bus at 7:30. We can't wait to hear all about Fanny and Brooke's exciting 1st day of Grade 10.
