Busy Week

Brooke and Fanny had a busy week.   Wednesday was the Red Feather Game where the Medway football team took on South and students who bought a ticket were able to get out of class for the morning.  On the morning of the game, Fanny commented to Brooke, " I know nothing about Canadian football" to which Brooke replied, " don't worry no one else gets it either".   lol    The girls had fun cheering on Medway although they lost 41-8.    Thursday as part of Fanny's drama class she went to London to the Grand Theatre to watch the high school production of The Addams Family.  Fanny loved the play!!

Friday was a day off for students so the girls enjoyed sleeping in.  They needed the sleep so they could rest up for the night.  During the day the girls went over to Amy Zavitz's house so that the girls could hang out and so that Fanny could play their piano.   It was officially the weekend and the girls were exited for the annual Ilderton Fall Fair.   Brooke and Fanny met up with Julia Hisey and the three of them went to the fair to enjoy the midway which they did until about 11pm.  The girls then were up Saturday morning for the parade and then went back to the fair for day 2.   A few more rides and some yummy fair food and the girls were home and ready for Saturday night.

Saturday night was the night for London Lightning Fastball's 1st Annual Spikes Volleyball Fundraiser.  Brooke, Fanny, Zack, Matt, Mikayla and Macenna made up the team Cools And The Gang.   They didn't win the tournament but they had a lot of fun and helped the association raise some much needed money.

Sunday and the girls along with myself were back at the fair.   We bought some apples, took a few photos and had an interesting conversation with an older gentleman who gave us each a walking stick after he shared his religious beliefs.    We also walked through some trailers and Fanny was amazed at the size of them and how cheap they were.  She even picked up some brochures to take home to her mom and dad.   Steak, baked potatoes, fresh bread and caesar salad for dinner.

Happy 18th Anniversary to my wife Lydia!!
